Most busy people have a lot of files and shortcuts on their computer desktops, which can make it really difficult to spot a certain application. The same goes when having a lot of programs opened, as it may be difficult to focus on a certain program window. Getting a larger monitor is just a temporary solution and will not fix the problem on the long term.
A much better solution for clearing your desktop and for increasing the efficiency of your work is to use the MultiDesktop application. As its name suggests, this Windows application adds three additional desktops to your computer, which can be personalized separately. After installing the application, the user will notice a small toolbar displayed on the screen, which features four different buttons.
One will just need to click on any of the four buttons to switch to a new desktop. Each desktop contains a wallpaper image which is automatically set by the application, so that the user will not confuse the four screens. After switching to a different desktop, the user will be able to personalize it just the way he wants and will be able to open different applications on it.
Each desktop can contain its own opened windows, desktop wallpaper, icons, shortcuts and so on. Included is also a tool for capturing the desktop, which is much more efficient than the Windows printscreen feature, allowing you to capture selected areas of your desktop and automatically save them as image files.

It adds three additional desktops to your computer, allowing you to personalize each of them separately and run different applications. Besides that, switching between desktops can be done using a single mouse click. Furthermore, there is an efficient screen capturing tool included, which allows you to select the area of the screen that should be captured.
Cons
There are few configuration options available. Besides that, the capturing tool cannot be configured. MultiDesktop is a solution for making your work more efficient, by adding three different desktops to your computer, which can be personalized separately, each in its own way.
